India’s Forus Health announced Aug. 21 that it has launched its recently FDA-cleared 3nethra NEO, a retinopathy of prematurity imaging platform, in the US.

The 3nethra NEO is a widefield retinal imaging digital camera that captures, stores, and transmits images of infant retinas for the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases and disorders.

The device provides a 120-degree view. It also has video mode imaging capability that enables the conversion of videos into images.

Forus Health was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Bangalore, India. The company has a wholly owned subsidiary in San Leandro, California.
