Quantel Medical Launches Pocket III Hand-held Pachymeter

Quantel Medical, a division of France's Lumibird Medical, announced May 30 the launch of the Pocket III hand-held pachymeter to measure the thickness of the cornea.
Quantel says the Pocket III is the lightest connected hand-held pachymeter, at 60 grams (2.1 ounces). It offers a precise and extended measurement range from 150 μm to 1,200 μm, due to its 30 MHz probe. A dedicated holder allows the probe tip to be soaked safely in disinfectant.
The Pocket III has CE marking in the EU and 510(k) clearance in the US.
