Visionix USA has announced the launch of its VX 610 non-mydriatic automated fundus camera.
The VX 610 boasts a range of automated features, including auto alignment, auto focus, and auto capture, which limit the need for extensive staff training.
The device features cross-polarized light technology, which provides clear images without pupil dilation. This technology allows for quicker and more comfortable exams for patients, as well as more efficient workflow for practitioners, the company said.
The device also offers a 45-degree field of view, coupled with a 90-degree mosaic function, for comprehensive retinal screening.
The VX 610 was designed with a touch-screen interface, both for ease of use and a compact footprint.
Visionix is based in France, with a US headquarters in North Lombard, Illinois.
