New World Medical Gains US Clearance for the Via360 Viscodilation System for Glaucoma

New World Medical announced Feb. 18 that it had received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA for its Via360 glaucoma surgical system. The Rancho Cucamonga, California, company said the device would be immediately available in the US. The Via360 is indicated for the delivery of controlled amounts of viscoelastic fluid and the cutting of trabecular meshwork, either in combination with cataract surgery or in stand-alone procedures.
